[Subaru isn't the only one stumbling around shell-shocked after the fight... Emil is on his way home as well, equally shaken despite the fact that he barely knew Doppio. The thought of killing another person, even one like Diavolo, is extremely distressing to him, and although he has no memories of the battle itself he knows that he contributed to it. His injuries are proof enough of that. He's bleeding, but he's too stunned to even really notice that fact right now-- all he wants to do is get home.
Were he thinking logically, he would have tried to be more quiet when he shuts the apartment door behind him. Logic, however, is the last thing on his mind.]

[the weapons get sheathed again. He's not too happy about the fact that Emil recklessly tried to face Diavolo without his help a second time. But from the sound of things, at least he wasn't alone.]
Any casualties?
[action]
Just... Diavolo.
[Now that the adrenaline is wearing off, he's starting to realize that hey, he's in pain. Not to mention tired.]
[action]
Good. Then get to bed.
[action]
... we killed him.
[action]
Yes, you've mentioned that already.
[action]
We killed him...
[action]
Pull yourself together, you weakling.
[action]
Richter...
[Maybe Richter is right.]
[action]
You just defeated a powerful enemy who could've slaughtered dozens of innocent civilians, and you sit here mourning about him? Pathetic.
[action]
[He's remembering his brief conversation with Doppio. Doppio didn't deserve that fate.]
[action]
You did what was necessary to protect the village. Isn't that what you were aiming for?
[action]
[Doesn't mean Emil won't still feel guilty as hell, though.]
[action]
[just look at those narrowed eyes, Emil. He means serious business.]
[action]
[Wincing, he reaches up to rub his shoulder... oh, that's right, he's still bleeding.]
[action]
... Heal.
[action]
T-thank you.
[action]
Now, for the last time, get to bed.
