[Near the edge of town is a small blue-clad heap lying motionless near some bushes. He appears to be rather the worse for wear: in addition to the typical cuts and bruises from a kidnapping, one wing is somewhat mangled, missing a bunch of feathers and bleeding heavily. That's the most obvious injury, though there may be more. He's curled up into a sort of protective ball...]

Feb. 24th, 2009 02:05 am[The journal falls open to record the sounds of a struggle in the background.]
L-let her go right now! I won't let you hurt her!
[Running footsteps and a yell, a sharp clang of metal against metal, a yelp of pain, and then a heavy thud. When Emil speaks again, his voice is lower, more dangerous. Yep, that's Ratatosk.]
Get the hell away from me! You picked the wrong person to mess with... Ain Soph Aur!
[There is a crashing sound, followed by a sharp cry of pain from Ratatosk... and then silence. The journal now lies abandoned in the partially-destroyed kitchen of Musette's house.]
[OOC: Emil and Musette have both been kidnapped. When will they be back? NO ONE KNOWS. Dun dun dun.]

[There is a loud splash as something large hits the surface of the lake, followed by a few moments of silence as whatever it was seems to be sinking. The object (which turns out to be Emil) abruptly resurfaces with a gasp, coughing and choking on the water he inhaled when he was so unceremoniously dumped into the water. Blindly he strikes out in what he hopes is the direction of the shore. He's so tired and weak that he can't manage more than a rather gimpy doggy paddle, but that's enough to at least keep his head above water and get him closer to the shore. After what seems like an eternity, his feet finally touch the bottom; one final burst of energy propels him forward before he collapses, half-submerged in the lake. Fortunately his head is above the water...]

Oct. 29th, 2008 11:42 am[Morning finds Emil out by the lake once more, only this time he's without company. He's left his journal on a rock and doesn't even seem to realize it's open; there is the occasional soft splash whenever he tosses a stone into the lake (well, he's trying to skip them, but he hasn't quite mastered it just yet), but other than that, all is silent.]
I'm so stupid...
[Another, louder splash as he hurls a rock into the lake angrily.]
I shouldn't have... what? W-who are you? Stay away from me... no, get back... stop!
[There is a sudden, frightened yelp and the sounds of a struggle before the recording abruptly cuts off. The journal now sits on the rock, abandoned, the pages rustling slightly in the breeze.]
(OOC: The mun is off to a wedding for the weekend, so Emil will be back on Monday. Have a great Halloween, guys! EDIT: OKAY I LIED, he'll probably be back Sunday.)
