[Emil has just been tidying up the living room a bit (not that it really needed that; Richter kept things rather spotless) when he notices a strange bag in the corner of the room. Thinking that it's something Richter has purchased, he goes to pick up the bag to ask if it belongs to his roommate. However, as soon as he touches it, the bag makes a loud exploding sound and emits a cloud of smoke...]

AAAAAHH!

[He jumps about three feet in the air and scrambles backwards, clutching at the closest object-- which happens to be Richter, who was sitting on the couch reading.]

I-I didn't do anything! I just went to pick it up and... that happened!
