[Action]
[It's sunset before Emil makes it back to town... while he was lucky enough not to land in the lake after going through the portal, he ended up in the mountains instead, and it's taken him almost two days to get back. He's exhausted, wet, freezing cold, and most importantly, he's not back in his world. The portal also separated him from Sial, so he's worried about what happened to his chimera companion as well.
He looks about as dejected as he feels right now; every so often he'll stumble over something and fall to his knees before picking himself up and continuing to trudge on.]

Did you lose your journal? I havn't seen it in this house or on ya person... Could be troublesome without that.

... wait. Sial! He forgot all about Sial! Setting the cup down, he'll try frantically to draw a cat-like shape in the air.]

Here, write it down in my journal if ya can't talk. [He passes Emil his journal and a pen.]

Spoil muns fun xDRaven takes the journal back off Emil, closing it shut quickly... he'll dispose of those later. Or use them for blackmail, either works.]Well that didn't go as planned... Guessin' that's part of yer barkin' thing then. Did you try jump through that gate by any chance?

Emil's been tortured enough for now XDWhile he doesn't nod, the guilty expression on his face says it all.]no subject
But it's so much fun!Raven acknowledges Emil's expression. So he was one of the people desperate to go home, he genuinely feels quite bad that the gate didn't work for this kid. But there's nothing he can really say to make it better.]It was worth a try though right? Come on, drink yer tea before it get's cold. Though I guess I should introduce myself, seeing as ya let a stranger into yer home so trustingly.
You can call me Raven. Ya'll have to tell me yer name when that barkin' of yours clears up.

Real men cry *shot*
[He leans in and gives Emil a hug, albiet a bit awkwardly after seeing those pictures. But he looks like he could do with one right now.]
BUT EMIL IS A DOG, NOT A MAN. At least for the moment.
Insert Richter quote here.
A little lass here once said to me that if I wished fer people to be happy with the power of love then it'd work. I'll make sure to wish for ya.
*flashback time*
Eventually he'll regain enough control of himself to attempt to stop crying. However, this just ends with him sort of hiccuping/sobbing rather than having its intended effect.]
Oh god those did my head in xD
[Raven noticed how skinny Emil was, but chose not to say anything. This kid didn't look like he'd been eating properly lately, judging from the way he broke down into tears it was likely to be caused by depression.]
You snuggle up here in that blanket with yer tea and I'll whip ya up somethin' to eat. You could do with that extra energy and a little more weight, it'll keep ya nice and strong!
It's like "WE GET IT ALREADY, EMIL" XD
The mention of food causes him to shake his head no-- it's a nice offer, but he doesn't have much of an appetite. He's fine with just the tea for now.]
COURAGE IS THE MAGIC THAT TURNS DREAMS INTO REALITY TIME?
[Raven slouches back into the couch more, staring at the cieling. There's alot he'd like to ask Emil, but with the lack of communication it'd probably just upset the boy further.]
Is the tea good at least?
YES
