[This isn't the first time Emil has returned home to an uncomfortably quiet house. It's not unusual for H to be out somewhere during the day, but there's something strange about today, a weird feeling in the house that causes a sinking sensation in the pit of Emil's stomach. Hoping against hope, he's going to head upstairs and open the door to his housemate's bedroom... only to have his worst fears confirmed.

Once again, his journal falls to the ground with a thud, popping open to record a strained, shaky voice.]

N-no... no, not again... no... please...

[OOC: I know, I'm still on hiatus, but Emil wouldn't not react to his housemate vanishing.]

[Raven throws some more ingredients into that bowl, far too lazy to list them he chops surprisingly quick so he'll tend to the rice for a moment.]

It only takes about 15 minutes ta cook at most kid, yer gonna need ta chop faster!

[Only those might be some real tears mixed in with the onion-induced ones there.]

[He shakes his head and rubs at his eyes with one of his sleeves.]

No, it's okay, I'll finish up.

[Well you better be done, cause the time it took you to slice a single onion the chicken is cooked and the rice is almost done.]

Throw it into that bowl there, then mix it up and poor it into the pan I melted butter in.

If I do that, will you finally tell me what it is we're making?

It ain't poisonous or anythin', I mean ya've been watchin' everything I put in there.

'Sides it's almost done, why tell ya now when you can wait and see the dish completed!

You can be really hopeless sometimes, you know that?

I have more hope than you.

[He dishes the rice and chicken onto the plates.] OK! Now pour that sauce on top of the chicken. Don't completely cover it though, just a nice li'l splash.

[Okay, so Raven has a point. He's just going to ignore that for the moment and take the sauce they made and put it on top of the chicken as instructed.]

Is that enough, or do I need to use more?

Nah that should be enough. [Raven examines the dish, everything looks to be right.]

OK! Time fer the great taste test! It's a dish called Chicken Katsu Curry~ A li'l sweet fer my likin', but hey, this is for you anyway.

[Emil leans down to sniff at it.]

It smells pretty good... I've had chicken katsu and curry before, but I'd never thought of combining them like this.

I added a li'l twist in there as well to give it a bit of a kick. So it's got some spice. Give it a try!

[Taking a bite now...]

Well don't leave me suspense kid.

[And eat it all he will, though he'll probably be chugging water for a while afterwards.]

[Hey it wasn't that spicey :/ he only put a very small amount in. But anyway he decides to go sit on the couch and eat his, more comfortable.]

[And back to the living room area he goes, balancing his plate and bringing along the sugar bowl to put some sugar in what's left of his tea.]

Yer tea will be cold by now ya know. [Munching away at the chicken. Damnit Raven it's rude to talk with your mouth full.]
