[Anyone in the grocery store will be treated to a battered, bloodied Emil (la la ongoing thread, oops) stumbling inside and slamming the door shut behind him, leaning back against it in a desperate hope that Yuber will think twice about following him into a building where other people might be taking refuge. When several moments pass and there is no attempt to open the door, Emil slides down it into a sitting position on the floor and takes a few deep breaths. He's clearly in bad shape; multiple wounds are bleeding heavily, and he bears the marks of several fire and lightning spells as well.

At last he stirs and reaches over for his journal, which he dropped on the floor in his haste. His voice is shaky and strained as he says one thing:]

I think... I think I need some help.

... They did something unforgivable. Ramirez helped me though, but it still made me sick.

Um... [ She saw him speaking to Vyse on the lawn. ] ... do you know about the nature Arcadia?

Okay.. in my world, there are Six Moons. They each hold an elemental property which blesses the region of the world it watches over.. sometimes, there are moon stones that fall from the sky and people harvest their energy, whether it be fuel or weapons or... um, food and drink.

But... a very long time ago, people began to misuse their power and created moon crystals; artefacts created by distilling a moon stone into its purest form that wielded unspeakable power. I... have a part of the silver moon crystal in my body and they attached something... um, something we found when we were travelling through the Dark Rift. It harnesses negative energy and they attached it to my crystal. Ramirez managed to remove it before it caused any lasting damage.

Oh yeah, Vyse was telling me about that, um... that drink that was made with moon stones. Loqua, is that it? Anyway, so these moon crystals are like really powerful versions of moon stones, right? And the one you have in your body is kind of like Ratatosk's core, so you'll die if it gets removed. Is that what you mean?

... Yes.

So that's why Ramirez was trying to help...

He... was the only one that was able to help me.

I'm sorry... I'm sorry for getting angry and attacking him like that. I didn't know...

No, he just scared me a little, but I'm okay. I thought he was trying to hurt you, and I think he thought the same thing about me.
