[Once again, it's the middle of the night, and once again Emil is having trouble sleeping. This time it's not dreams that are disturbing him, but the constant presence of the ghostly figures of his parents. Even though they've talked and come to an understanding (and how surreal that entire conversation was), he still can't help but be bothered by everything this experiment has forced him to acknowledge and confront, both about himself and about those close to him. It's no surprise that sleep isn't coming easily to him right now.

He shuts his eyes for a moment, then opens them again to find... someone he did NOT want to see again. Letting out a startled, frightened yelp, he jumps, falling right off his bed and knocking his journal off the nightstand in the process. It falls open to record his next words.]

Y-you... no... go away... go away! We killed you, you're dead... you're not real...

... dammit. Who is it, Emil? Who's bothering you?

Diavolo... he looks like he did when he died...

There really isn't much anyone can do about these hauntings right now. Just ... remember that it's not real. Whatever it says, whatever it does -- it's not real and it can't do anything to you. If you have to, then use a blindfold. That's all you can really do about it for now.

But even if I cover my eyes, I can still hear what he's saying to me. I... don't want to hear that.

So, he's being chatty ... there isn't a hell of a lot you can do about that, besides find something to cover your ears with.

The guys I've got around me are pretty chatty too, so I've just been walking around continually. Been driving them nuts. Well, one of them, anyway.

He's taunting me and saying that when he comes back he's going to get me back and hurt Richter. What if... what if that's true?

[Voice]

That's all? Emil, don't even worry about it. If he comes back and threatens anyone or tries anything, I'll beat him down and make him wish he stayed dead.

Yep. No one's getting attacked by that nutcase on my watch.
