[Accidental Voice/Action]

[Once again, it's the middle of the night, and once again Emil is having trouble sleeping. This time it's not dreams that are disturbing him, but the constant presence of the ghostly figures of his parents. Even though they've talked and come to an understanding (and how surreal that entire conversation was), he still can't help but be bothered by everything this experiment has forced him to acknowledge and confront, both about himself and about those close to him. It's no surprise that sleep isn't coming easily to him right now.

He shuts his eyes for a moment, then opens them again to find... someone he did NOT want to see again. Letting out a startled, frightened yelp, he jumps, falling right off his bed and knocking his journal off the nightstand in the process. It falls open to record his next words.]

Y-you... no... go away... go away! We killed you, you're dead... you're not real...

[meanwhile, Richter climbs back into bed, ignoring the look all those ghosts are giving him, including the spirit of his own. This experiment had better be over soon.]

[you can fall asleep in the chair if you want, Emil. Richter won't mind and the ghosts can't hurt you.]

[Richter, who had just drifted back off to sleep, wakes with a start. His eyes peer into the darkness of the room to see two ghosts and... Emil on the floor. A few seconds later, he gets a nasty suspicion of what just happened.]

It seems to me like you can sleep perfectly fine.

[which means that he can't send Emil back to his own room either. Once he does, the kid will likely suffer from insomnia again. He doesn't like the idea of Emil sleeping on the floor, though. ... Damn, it was only going to be a one-time thing, but there's no other way]

... Get in the bed.

[and he moves the sheets back again, just like last time.]

[Aww, now you're making him look like the good guy. Richter would never admit to being nice. The expression he gives Emil clearly says that, no, he doesn't mind. It also says that the kid should hurry up and get under those sheets before he changes his mind.]

[damned straight. Especially with those two particular ghosts watching, he's not too fond of the idea of Emil getting too close. At least, without his glasses, he won't be able to see their mocking faces. So after rubbing his tired eyes one last time, he lies down again.]

[that kid better not have his first real 'wet dream' in Richter's bed.]
