... wait, where am I? Marta? Tenebrae? Where did they go? M-maybe they're getting supplies... that must be it... but why wouldn't they wake me up too? This doesn't look like where we camped last night, but it was dark so I guess I just couldn't see that well. Now that I think about it, it was kind of creepy in the dark...

Aaah! W-what the... what are these? Are they... they're attached to me! What's going on? [there is a distinct edge of panic to his voice now] Tenebrae! Marta! Where are you? Richter... anyone! Is this part of becoming the Knight of Ratatosk? If it is, I don't want to do this anymore!

This can't be happening... the people in Luin were right, I really am a monster...

[Two hours some time later, Richter finally moves a muscle to stifle a yawn, then continues to peer at the forest like some sort of statue.]

[ohoh, you wouldn't believe all things Richter's contemplating right now. He knows the kid isn't Astel. He knows that Emil is, in fact, the one who killed Astel. He also remembers that he swore to kill Emil. But, really, what's the point here? Dead people don't stay dead, and his demon pact has been annuled so it's not like anyone will be resurrected if he does so.

[he straightens up quickly and manages a shaky smile. It wouldn't do to look weak in front of Richter, after all... he wants to show the other man that he's a human and not a pig, even though right now what he'd really like to do is just curl up in a little ball.

He hasn't forgotten that Richter tried to kill him, but neither has he forgotten the fact that Richter couldn't go through with it in the end]
