[Much like Musette, Emil has spent the past couple of days cooking like mad. If you've ever spoken to Emil at all, expect to get a nice little box lunch on your doorstep with a small note inside. The food is delicious AND adorable-- Emil has a habit of doing things like shaving carrots into flower petals and carving potatoes into rabbits. It's almost too cute to eat. If he doesn't know you, then you've gotten some cookies anyway because he's not about to leave anyone out.]

Wow, that was a lot more work than I'd thought... Anyway, um... what is it that you're supposed to say again? Oh, right, Merry Christmas! Um, did anyone else get a strange gift this morning too? I woke up to find my chimera Sial outside the house... maybe Santa brought him here for me! I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't get to see this Santa, though. I want to know how his sled flies.

[The majority of the day today was spent fixing a nice dinner for himself, Richter and Tenebrae (and Sial too, now that the chimera is here) and now Emil is just glad for a chance to sit down and rest his feet. Cue him flopping onto the couch.]

You're welcome! I'm not sure I would've been that good at hunting, though. Maybe I should just stick to things like this instead.

Yeah well, I probably wouldn't have either, but watchin' me fall out of a tree probably woulda been fun if nothin' else. Maybe we coulda made an animal laugh itself ta death.

Probably not, but ya never know. I gotta ferret friend who might just laugh herself ta death at me some day. Mighta been our best bet since we both seemed ta be pretty hopeless.

I guess I should have left the hunting up to Richter. He seemed to be doing just fine on his own.

[chuckles] Never could understand why they put someone who never hunted in charge a hunting. Ah well, we made it through with enough food one way or 'nother. [Another in Duo's case meaning he stole food to take care of his housemates.]

[Richter is not amused by the appearance of even more housemates. It's a good thing they're not still living in the apartment. If they did, things might've gotten troublesome. Anyway, he's going to sit down on the couch next to Emil, now. Eating too much dinner can exhaust a guy.]

[Oh come on, Richter, how can you say no to something that cute? And Emil will take care of it! Right now, though, he's just going to shift positions so he can lean on Richter.]

I'm glad. I tried my best with all of that food, but I've never made that much at once before so I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out.
