[It's been a few days since Emil was returned from his Mallynapping, and while he's still kind of out of it from pain and loss of blood, he's recovered enough to have some visitors. Right now he's just resting in the clinic and being very bored when he isn't sleeping.]


[OOC: Open post, anyone is welcome to come visit the kid and cheer him up a bit!]

Could I have a glass of water? I'm really thirsty.

[there's a pitcher in the room, so she just pours him a glass]

[And he tries to prop himself up in a semi-sitting position against the pillows.]

Don't strain too much. [moves the pillows to help hold him up better]

I was stuck in here not that long ago. I know how boring it gets.

[Suddenly apprehensive.]

What happened to you when Raine and I brought you here? ...You got all...angry.

[she doesn't look angry back. Just concerned]

I... did? I-I didn't hurt either of you, did I?

No. Of course not. ...What was going on?

... it's kind of a long story. I'm not sure right now would be a good time to explain it.

I'm not gonna force you to. But I do wanna know, sometime.

Try to get some sleep, okay?

[Emil manages a shaky little smile at her.]

The wings heal on their own a lot faster than anything else. In a couple days it should just ache a little.

I really hope you're right... once it gets better, I can go back home.

[Closing his eyes for real this time... it's not long before he's fast asleep.]

[has nothing else to do, so she'll stay for a while in case the pain wakes him up again]

[This time it looks like Emil is actually getting some decent rest that's not being interrupted by pain. Good thing, too, as he really needs it.]

[the next time he wakes up, he'll find a napping ninja resting her head on her arms at the end of his bed]
