[On the floor of the forest not too far from the southern barrier is something blue lying among the leaves. Emil decided to take Vyse and Asch's advice of finding something productive to do rather than moping around, but since he's not the type of person to always think things through, this means he's spent the past week banging on/trying to find a way through the barrier. Obviously, that didn't exactly work.

He's partially covered with leaves now thanks to the wind, though there's still enough of his outfit uncovered to be visible from a distance. It looks like he's been there for a little while. Poke/kick/tell him he's a moron?]

Hey, I gotcha, don't worry! Can you walk though?

I think so, I just need to wait for everything to stop spinning first.

Hey, if you can't make it, I can carry you back to the village! It'll only take a couple seconds. But if you wanna try to walk, we'll do it together.

[And he's going to take a few wobbly steps to prove it.]

[He can respect that. Sonic will watch carefully, but will be ready to hold onto him to support him.]

[And he'll walk forward, slowly and unsteadily, but managing to remain upright. He doesn't want to be a burden to Sonic.]

[He saw that Emil was having a little trouble, but didn't intervene quite yet. Burden him as much as you want, Emil, that's what he's there for! He'll be fast enough to catch you, and he'll let Emil take all the time he needs.]

[But Emil hates causing trouble for people, so he's going to do his best to keep on walking by himself, even if he has to stop and rest every so often. He wants to make it back to the house on his own feet.]
