[This isn't the first time Emil has returned home to an uncomfortably quiet house. It's not unusual for H to be out somewhere during the day, but there's something strange about today, a weird feeling in the house that causes a sinking sensation in the pit of Emil's stomach. Hoping against hope, he's going to head upstairs and open the door to his housemate's bedroom... only to have his worst fears confirmed.

Once again, his journal falls to the ground with a thud, popping open to record a strained, shaky voice.]

N-no... no, not again... no... please...

[OOC: I know, I'm still on hiatus, but Emil wouldn't not react to his housemate vanishing.]

[Now that he's not as flustered, he's starting to feel a bit down again.]

[SCRAMBLING OFF TO THE KITCHEN TO GO MAKE THAT NOW. You're welcome to come in and sit down while he does so, Raven.]

[Emil's going to come back to the living area with a cup of tea a few minutes later and... well, he's glad you're comfortable, at least.]

Hey, Raven, your tea is ready.

Yay! After tea ya get a hug. [He pats the couch next to him.] Sit.

[He'll hand the cup of tea to Raven and then obediently sit down on the couch next to him.]

It's cinnamon tea... I didn't put any sugar in it or anything because I didn't know what you like.

[He looks at the cup, he's really not a fan of cinnamon.]

Well I don't like sweet things, at all.

I'm sorry, I can go make you some plain tea instead if you'd like...

I'd prefer that, sorry kid.

[Emil sets the teacup down on the coffee table (he'll drink it, so it won't go to waste) and goes to brew a fresh cup of tea, returning shortly with a fresh cup of plain old black tea.]

Here you go. Sorry about that; I didn't know you didn't like sweet things.

Hey, don't worry about it kid. Now sit down, lets chat while we drink. Might make ya feel better ta get it all off yer chest.

[He takes a seat next to Raven again, playing with the hem of his sweatshirt nervously.]

I can't believe this happened again...

That's just how this place works though. Ya should be happy that they'll be back home instead of bein' stuck here.

But Horatio isn't even from my world, and... what if I never see him again?

There's ya key words "what if". Stop thinkin' about those.

Get over it. He's gone back home and there's nothin' ya can do about it. What do ya think Horatio would do if he saw ya mopin' around.

Who cares? He's not around to see me anymore, so I can do whatever I want and he can't say anything about it.

Wow, yer a regular genius aren't ya? Horatio is gone, yeah he won't see ya whinin' like a little girl and there's the high chance ya'll probably never see the guy again. Here's a hint for ya kid, the rest of us stuck behind can see ya bein' this way, and we're not about to disappear just yet. So ya might wanna try thinkin' about the people around you right now instead of the folks who may or may not be comin' back.
