[Accidental Voice]
[This isn't the first time Emil has returned home to an uncomfortably quiet house. It's not unusual for H to be out somewhere during the day, but there's something strange about today, a weird feeling in the house that causes a sinking sensation in the pit of Emil's stomach. Hoping against hope, he's going to head upstairs and open the door to his housemate's bedroom... only to have his worst fears confirmed.
Once again, his journal falls to the ground with a thud, popping open to record a strained, shaky voice.]
N-no... no, not again... no... please...
[OOC: I know, I'm still on hiatus, but Emil wouldn't not react to his housemate vanishing.]

[Following, curious to see what Raven is planning.]

[He's going to get the eggs out and set them on the counter, then put the rice and water into a pot and put it on the stove to boil.]
So what are we making, anyway? Some kind of fried rice?

I need ta deep fry the chicken so stay away from the pan. I don't want ya gettin' burned.

[He's watching what Raven is doing intently. It looks like some kind of fried chicken, but he's never heard of eating rice with fried chicken before, so maybe there's something else to this dish? Either way, once the rice is going, he'll chop up the garlic and then pick up one of the onions, hesitating. He always ends up tearing up a lot when he has to cut onions-- it's a little embarrassing.]

[With the chicken cooking he takes a moment to chop an apple and banana, throwing them into a bowl with some curry powder.] Put the garlic and onions in there OK? [Then he moves back to the chicken.]
And don't cry too much.

[He'll do as Raven says and put the garlic in the bowl, then start chopping up the onion. THOSE ARE NOT TEARS, NOT AT ALL.]

far too lazy to list themhe chops surprisingly quick so he'll tend to the rice for a moment.]It only takes about 15 minutes ta cook at most kid, yer gonna need ta chop faster!

[Only those might be some real tears mixed in with the onion-induced ones there.]
