[This isn't the first time Emil has returned home to an uncomfortably quiet house. It's not unusual for H to be out somewhere during the day, but there's something strange about today, a weird feeling in the house that causes a sinking sensation in the pit of Emil's stomach. Hoping against hope, he's going to head upstairs and open the door to his housemate's bedroom... only to have his worst fears confirmed.

Once again, his journal falls to the ground with a thud, popping open to record a strained, shaky voice.]

N-no... no, not again... no... please...

[OOC: I know, I'm still on hiatus, but Emil wouldn't not react to his housemate vanishing.]

Maybe the Malnosso even have spaceships here... um, wherever they're hiding.

They could! I'm not sure I'd be surprised by anything they might have.

I wonder what all they do have in their hideout.

Who knows... probably just about everything.

Or they could always have teleporters, and that's how they bring people here instead of spaceships.

The could! Faster travel that way!

So we just have to go find these teleporters or spaceships and then we can visit everyone else in their worlds... right?

[He takes a deep breath, trying to keep his emotions under control.]

[Places his hand on your shoulder again.] It's alright. [Vash is a man who understands that sometimes a good cry is what you need.] It's okay to miss him.

[He's shaking a little bit.]

Why do they keep doing this? First Marta, then Richter and Tenebrae, and now Horatio too...

I wish I could tell you, but it's hard to understand what they think.

[He just kind of rubs at his eyes a bit, trying to keep himself from crying.]

It's okay to be sad. [He would say cry, but Vash knows for some reason men don't like to cry. He never really understood that.]

[Emil has grown far less resistant to the thought of crying lately-- he's kind of fallen apart on Raven and McCoy already, so what's one more person? Yeah, he's crying now, though it's just softly and he's trying not to make a big deal of it.]
