[Voice/Action] (Backdated to yesterday after Yuber's post)

[Anyone in the grocery store will be treated to a battered, bloodied Emil (la la ongoing thread, oops) stumbling inside and slamming the door shut behind him, leaning back against it in a desperate hope that Yuber will think twice about following him into a building where other people might be taking refuge. When several moments pass and there is no attempt to open the door, Emil slides down it into a sitting position on the floor and takes a few deep breaths. He's clearly in bad shape; multiple wounds are bleeding heavily, and he bears the marks of several fire and lightning spells as well.

At last he stirs and reaches over for his journal, which he dropped on the floor in his haste. His voice is shaky and strained as he says one thing:]

I think... I think I need some help.

[Hokay, let's go with Zelos having followed Sheena in or something. That works. He was in the back of the store for a bit.]

You know, Emil... red is so not your color.

[Blink blink. There's a voice he hasn't heard in a while.]

... Zelos?

[Zelos was kidnapped by the college monster, unfortunately. Anyways, mopey needed to come out of his shell, and what better than cannibal butterflies to do the job? Zelos comes up to Emil, looking over those wounds.]

Last I checked, I was Zelos. So I'd say you're right. Hold still.

[No worries, he's mainly holding still because he's too tired to move or do much of anything.]

Well, if I wasn't okay, I'd probably bitching up a storm. As long as you don't panic, they're not too bad to take care of.

Well, I gotta admit. Man-eating butterflies is really out there on the "ways to cause mass havoc in Luceti" list.

I'm not sure if it's better or worse than the trees from the other day.

I'd say they both suck.

But the butterflies have got to be weirder.

And if neither of these were experiments, that means something else could still happen before the end of the month.

Man, this month just sucks.

[He tries sitting up a little bit and moving his limbs experimentally.]

That's what doctors do, they yell at you. Then they throw some crazy looking pills at you and make you swallow them.

Or they give you a... what did he call it again? Oh, right, a hypospray. But it did make my headache go away.

The heck is a... nevermind. Good that it works, whatever it is.

He put it against my arm like this-- [He holds up his hand to demonstrate the motion] -- and it made a hissing sound and injected the medicine, only it didn't hurt at all. I wish we had things like that back in our world.

Sounds like something those bookworms in Sybak would come up with. Does sound convenient though.

It's a lot better than having to drink that disgusting tea when you get sick, that's for sure.

Oh yeah, that tea was pretty horrible, wasn't it? I forgot how it tasted.

She seems to like giving it to everyone whenever they're sick.

Well, maybe it's so horrible it chases the sick right out of you. Pretty effective medicine, wouldn't you say?

Yeah, but couldn't it taste better and still be horrible? I don't think medicine is going to work all that well when it tastes so bad you can't even finish it.
