Everyone is getting kidnapped... we should never have gone into those tunnels. The Malnosso are probably mad at us for messing around with their stuff.

I won't let them hurt my friends! ... but... I don't know what we can do.

I doubt it's due to the tunnels. This is just the kind of thing they like pulling when we're looking the other way.

But if I hadn't gone down there, maybe I could've done something...

... the only way to do something about the kidnappings is to do something about the Malnosso themselves. No one's been able to stop a kidnapping that I know of -- everyone gets there too late, or just gets knocked aside in the process.

Even if you did get there in time, you're running the risk of getting taken along with them.

I know. The last thing I want to do is be told to sit and wait when someone I care about gets taken. Until we find out where they are and how to get to them, that's apparently all we can do.

I'm not accepting that. There's a desert out there, and there has to be something past it.

So do I. Raine being the way she is out there is getting me a little worried. If she's not careful, she could easily run into something nasty. The others better be keeping an eye on her.
