[At all of this talking going on around him, Emil is beginning to stir...]

He's stable. You're a fast mover. I'm sure it wouldn't take too long.

[That doesn't escape her notice, and she looks back down at the patient] Emil?

You've been hanging out with Albert for too long.

...Emil? You awake?

[He manages to force his eyes partway open and squints at the blurry figures standing over him.]

... What's that supposed to mean?

[She kneels down near Emil so that he could see her more clearly] Emil, it's Raine, and Sheena's here as well.

Nothing.

I'll go back to the clinic, as fast as I can.

[Well, he recognizes the voices, at least, but he can't seem to make his eyes focus on anything. That's rather annoying.]

... All right. We'll be waiting.

[She shakes her head a little.]

Relax. You're back in the village, now.

[This would be a lot easier if he could form coherent thoughts, really... as it is, he just kind of stares blankly at Raine.]

[She casts another healing spell on him. There's not much else that can be done, really.]

[She might notice that his pupils are dilated, his eyes somewhat glazed-looking. Why is it so hard to think?]

[She's noticed that, and she's not very pleased.]

Close your eyes, Emil. Sheena will be back soon.

[not soon enough for her, though. But she is back, bringing with her a stretcher from the clinic and her bff Summon Spirit]

[Emil doesn't need to be told twice, Raine.]

[No one is expecting her to run marathons. In any case, Raine lifts her head to the approaching Summoner] It's fine, Sheena. Thanks for the help.

Now, we just need to move him carefully.

[and there's even a Corrine to help if he can]

[He makes a small sound of assent.]

[Raine nods, and carefully directs Sheena on how to help her move Emil. It might be a little painful for him, but he'll be fine once he's settled. They'll need to hold him so he doesn't try to roll off, either. Corrine can probably be of more help with that.]

[follows Raine's direction, telling Corrine to help keep him steady as they walk]

[Even as gentle as they are, the movement still causes him pain and he can't keep himself from yelping a bit whenever they have to step over something.]
