[Emil can be found outside of House 20 trying in vain to patch a rather sizable hole in one of the walls, the result of a pissed-off Ratatosk (in a thread that hasn't been finished yet, oops) trying to get Vyse and Stahn out of his house. It's obvious that he doesn't know what he's doing and he doesn't have the proper tools to do a real repair; he's just trying to block up the hole as best he can to keep the snow and the wind out.

It doesn't look like it's working that well.]

[Ladder? What ladder? Emil doesn't have anything like that around the house; he always just used to let Richter handle the things that required reaching stuff in high places. No, he's been trying to do all of this without the help of a ladder.]

[He starts heading for the house, then stops and looks back at Emil expectantly.]

[Oh fine, he'll follow, after he's gone inside to retrieve Sial. Can't leave his little buddy all alone in the house.]

[Success. And Sial is adorable so of course he can come too.]

[Sial is just happy to be out of that cold, dark house, really.]

[poor thing. Minato's is much warmer, though more lonely without Fina.]

[Emil certainly won't object to the warmth either; it's just that getting a fire going in his own fireplace is too much effort for him to bother with.]
