[Emil can be found outside of House 20 trying in vain to patch a rather sizable hole in one of the walls, the result of a pissed-off Ratatosk (in a thread that hasn't been finished yet, oops) trying to get Vyse and Stahn out of his house. It's obvious that he doesn't know what he's doing and he doesn't have the proper tools to do a real repair; he's just trying to block up the hole as best he can to keep the snow and the wind out.

[Yuri's on yet another one of his walking-around-the-village-at-random-when-I've-got-free-time adventures when he comes across Emil trying to be a carpenter. Normally, Yuri'd march right up with a smile and a "oh hey let me help you there", but considering their talk last week ... well, he's hesitant to even bother approaching.

... Still. He can't just ignore him when it's something like this. He approaches, but he's still hanging back for the most part.]

... You should let someone with a little more experience help you out with that.

[It's automatic, really; he's still feeling awkward after their last encounter. He still doesn't feel like Yuri understands how he feels, that he's resentful of Yuri having his friends and family around. Of course, he isn't actually going to TELL the guy what he's thinking, either.]

[That's said pretty sternly. It's pretty damn obvious Emil's nowhere near fine, and Yuri's not about to butter up the fact that that's obvious.]

[That tone causes him to cringe somewhat, but he tries not to let it show as he picks the hammer back up. No, he hasn't been fine for quite a while now. He's just gotten good at hiding it-- or maybe not.]
