[Near the edge of town is a small blue-clad heap lying motionless near some bushes. He appears to be rather the worse for wear: in addition to the typical cuts and bruises from a kidnapping, one wing is somewhat mangled, missing a bunch of feathers and bleeding heavily. That's the most obvious injury, though there may be more. He's curled up into a sort of protective ball...]

[The wing is the most immediate problem at hand; it's still bleeding rather heavily.]

[She frowns, and starts casting some healing spells to stabilize his body first, before concentrating on the wing and applying pressure to slow the bleeding.]

[Even unconscious like he is, Emil can feel that pain and he instinctively tries to pull away from her hands. That hurts, Raine.]

[She remains as firm as possible, wanting to make sure the blood has subsided enough for her to properly heal and bandage it without risk of infection. Sorry, Emil.]

[For something so small, that wing is sure bleeding a lot. It probably has something to do with the amount of missing feathers...]

[Missing feathers, or missing flesh? In any case, she's still going to do her best to stop as much bleeding as she can before starting to wrap it.]

[Well, both, really, but it's hard to tell under all that blood. Emil's still curled up in a ball even as he struggles weakly to get away.]

[Oh stop moving around, Emil. Healing is good for you. Don't make Tenebrae have to turn into a restraining device of darkness. She keeps working, regardless, murmuring another healing spell]

Emil. It's all right. You're safe now.

[He'd probably figure this much out if he were conscious, but... well. Still, he does calm slightly and stop struggling quite as much once he realizes that whatever is going on doesn't seem to be hurting him too badly, and hey, that healing feels kind of nice.]

[That's better. Once he finally stops struggling, she's able to finish wrapping his mangled wing, then turns her attention towards his other wounds. He really needs to be brought to the clinic, but that's not an option until he's stabilized completely. Maybe Tenebrae can transform into a stretcher of some kind...]

[Tenebrae is relieved to see Emil relax a bit now, Raine's curative techniques doing the trick.]

I knew it was a wise idea to seek you out to heal him, Raine.

[She half glances up from her healing] I thank you for the confidence. Although he will need to be moved to the clinic, once he's stabilized. Do you think you can find someone who can assist?

Yes, I'm certain that shouldn't be an issue.

Thank you. [She turns her attention back to tending to Emil.]

[He floats off to retrieve help.]

[Fortunately, none of the other wounds seem major, just cuts and bruises that should seal right up with a couple of healing spells.]

[And healing spam he shall get. It's mildly draining, but whatever, that is how Raine rolls.]

[The bleeding seems to have slowed, which is a good thing! Yay for healspam.]

[All that's really left to do now is some more tending, and to wait for someone to help take him to the clinic.]

[Oh hey, not so much with the yelling, that's kind of loud there.]

[Raine lifts her head from where she was looking over Emil's wounds]

Sheena. We need to get him to the clinic.

Yeah, it looks like it. [wings twitch when she sees him] Man, do I know what that feels like.

What do you need me to do?

[Well, it's pretty obvious that he's not going to be walking there on his own...]

We need a way to transport him without compromising that wing too badly. The clinic might have something we can use as a stretcher for this purpose...
