[Emil can be found outside of House 20 trying in vain to patch a rather sizable hole in one of the walls, the result of a pissed-off Ratatosk (in a thread that hasn't been finished yet, oops) trying to get Vyse and Stahn out of his house. It's obvious that he doesn't know what he's doing and he doesn't have the proper tools to do a real repair; he's just trying to block up the hole as best he can to keep the snow and the wind out.

[Minato nods, and turns back to the house. After looking around in the closet he finds a dark blue tarp he'd used back when the pantry ceiling was leaking.]

Let's tack this over the hole.

[Which... might be difficult since they're both pretty short but hopefully since they've been working they already have a ladder out here]

[Ladder? What ladder? Emil doesn't have anything like that around the house; he always just used to let Richter handle the things that required reaching stuff in high places. No, he's been trying to do all of this without the help of a ladder.]
