[Accidental Voice/Action]
Apr. 1st, 2010 12:12 pm[It isn't until the next morning after Ratatosk's little run-in with a certain doctor whose house he is currently staying in that Emil awakens, feeling woozy and disoriented and with a distinct sense that something not-too-great happened yesterday. Too bad he can't remember just what it was, or in fact anything that happened for the last few days-- a sure sign that Ratatosk has been out and about.
But he can worry about that later; right now his most pressing thought is that he really needs a glass of water, so he's going to slip out into the kitchen of House 7 after ascertaining that the coast is clear. While he's gulping down the water, he catches sight of a very strange looking box with an odd panel of buttons on the side. Is this some sort of magical food generator? Cautiously he presses the "Popcorn" button, only to jump and scramble back when the thing seems to turn on.
... wait, it says "cook," maybe you put the food in question into it and it cooks it? A few moments of searching the cupboards yields him a potato, which he sets on a plate and places in the box. He then presses the "Potato" button and waits, making himself a cup of tea in the process while he flips through his journal to see what he's missed over the past few days.
A little while later, a rather loud popping sound can be heard over the journals, followed up by a startled yelp from Emil and Brown barking like crazy. Residents of House 7 who go to the kitchen to investigate will find a very lovely mess (although with more potato bits than that scattered around) and Emil peering nervously into the kitchen from the doorway with eyes the size of saucers.]
